Jefferson police officers wrote only 13 citations but issued 110 warnings during a special Traffic Enforcement Project Nov. 19-26.
Officers arrested one driver for operating while intoxicated.
Citations were issued as follows: speed, five; driving with a suspended or revoked license, two; registration violation, two; dark windows, two; driving without a license, one; and other traffic violations, one.
Warnings were given as follows: equipment violations, 29; speed, 23; no proof of insurance 16; seat belts, nine; dark windows, seven; registration violations, six; stop sign/stop light violations, six; driving with a suspended or revoked license, one; move over violation, one; and other traffic violations, 29.
Officers investigated three accidents, assisted one motorist, did four interdiction/K9 searches, and served two arrest warrants.
